First Call Open to Develop Business Projects at the Immersive Realities Incubator in Almendralejo

IRIA-post

Until November 25, entrepreneurs, microenterprises, and SMEs from Extremadura can submit their projects to the IRIA call to develop new solutions and products using immersive technologies such as Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Artificial Intelligence. The program offers access to cutting-edge technological infrastructure and a comprehensive incubation and acceleration program to support their market launch.

The objective of the IRIA call is to support the creation of new technology-based companies and startups, as well as to accelerate business projects related to the application of the latest trends in Immersive Reality technologies.

Up to 10 business projects will be selected to participate in the incubation program, which focuses on developing and validating prototypes, providing guidance and access to the latest technologies, shared workspaces, and a community of entrepreneurs. The acceleration phase aims to boost the market launch of the projects through a training program in organizational design, market analysis, R&D, and financing. Additionally, participation in investment forums and industry events will be encouraged to facilitate the growth and funding of the selected projects.

To this end, IRIA offers state-of-the-art infrastructure and technological equipment, along with a range of advanced services tailored to the specific needs of each business project in the immersive technologies sector, adapting to their nature and maturity level.

The call also provides access to a broad network of collaborators, including leading companies, research groups, funding support organizations, and other key stakeholders with proven experience in immersive technologies, business digitalization, and innovative business models.

The incubation process will last 6 months, extendable up to 24 months depending on the project’s progress. After the incubation phase, the acceleration process will begin, with a maximum duration of 6 months, allowing for a total of up to 24 months across both phases.

Interested parties can now submit their applications through the IRIA website (https://iriavr.es), where the full terms and conditions of the call are also available. The call will remain open until November 25.
